I know most of you don't visit this site for news about wine or wine deals, but there must be some wine lovers out there.
With that in mind, just a quick mention of an outstanding deal on a very solid California Pinot: Willbrook typically sells for $34 a bottle online. I've only seen it for <$20 at two sites – K&L, which is currently out of stock on this bottle, and Beltramo's.
Beltramo's is selling this wine for $16.99 a bottle, and it's a crazy steal. They only have a handful left (I nearly bought their entire stock this afternoon) and of course, shipping charges apply. Inclusive of shipping, you'll pay about $20 – $21 per bottle.
I'm a pinot lover, and this is a very solid offering. This is how a K&L staffer described it:
Bryan and I found another beautiful wine from Willowbrook. The first wine we offered you, the Willowbrook "DuNah Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir made by Joe Otos, blew us away with its quality and price. Now we've been offered their 2007 Mendocino County Pinot Noir. This wine is medium-bodied with a lovely nose of cranberry, Bing cherry and just a hint of cedar. The mid-palate is balanced with bright red fruit, cocoa and a beautiful streak of minerality. The wine finishes long and fresh. $16.99 is an unbelieveable price for this wine and, once again, production is very limited. This is by far the best Pinot Noir under $20 I have tasted this year. Thanks again Joe. We are looking forward to the next wine you have for us. (Mike Jordan, K&L Wine Merchants)
I've served this wine to guests, and it's worth every bit of $30+. I should mention that this bottle is a screw cap, in case it matters to you.

And, for the record: I have no connection to any of the companies mentioned here, nor the winery.
