It’s remarkable how you can never hear about a company, and then are practically tripping over them no matter where you turn. I’d never heard of Rail Riders and then in the course of one week, received their catalog in the mail, saw a reference to their EcoMesh baselayer shirt in Lightweight Backpacking and Camping, and stumled a review of their Adventure Pants in “Field & Stream.”

Intrigued, I ordered a couple of shirts and got my hands on a pair of their tough “VersaTac” midweight nylon cargo pants.

In actual practice, that pocket is mounted high in the hoodie and it’s a bit awkward to access your player’s controls; I imagine that having the word “contortionist” on your resume would be an asset in this case. Also, of course, if you utilize the hoodie’s Personal Area Network, you need an extra set of earbuds if you want to listen to your player when you’re not wearing the hoodie…
