Paperwallet is a Tyvek® wallet with a twist.  In a bid to make art more accessible, Paperwallet is collaborating with artists from around the world to create striking, eco-friendly wallets that not only look great, but are fully functional.  Each Paperwallet has 2 credit card slots, 2 business card flaps, 2 side pockets and a cash compartment:

Paperwallets boast a greater capacity than similar wallets, and their interest in discovering and supporting new artists is certainly laudable.

    Wow. It looks great!

Many years ago I bought a leather, handmade wallet at a craft fair in Tucson, Arizona. It was thin and compact, well-made, and simple. I’ve carried that poor beastie around for almost 20 years, now, and it’s in the process of falling apart. (My girlfriend says it fell apart years ago and I just refuse to admit it.)

Sadly, it looks like time for a new wallet to replace my faithful old one. (Hint, hint ….)

    Cheers and aloha –

I have a couple of thin nylon wallets (work great!), one made of recycled tire rubber (harder to lose because sticky), and am looking for both a good Tyvek based wallet and for a classic “duct tape” wallet. Here’s my bid to be a lucky winner!

I have a Dynomighty wallet that is tough and durable, but the folded, origami-ish build is less than perfect. It looks like Paperwallet has solved that problem while keeping the cool factor of art and the practicality of Tyvek. It would seem to be a better product all around and I’d love to upgrade to one.

I would love to have one of those artist series wallets so here is my bid! That is if my wife does not steal it.

I currently use the Tom Bihn organizer wallet but was just thinking the other day that I should look into these. Thanks for the contest!

It would be interesting to see how well a Tyvek wallet would hold up over time. Love the idea of how thin it would be!

My Costanza is disintegrating a little bit each time I plant my bottom on the train for the journey to work. These accessoires vestimentaires appear to be a fine replacement!

OK, those are pretty cool looking wallets.

  13. GN says:

Looks nice but the Dynomighty looks like it may have more room.

    Kevin Reply:

They’re a bit thinner than the Dynomighty wallets, with just one compartment for bills, vs. the Dynomighty’s two.

These look great. I’d love to try one :-)
