I love my two year old Merrell Milano shoes – they’re versatile enough to be suitable for business casual, traveling in Europe, and just knockin’ around in a pair of jeans.  A few weeks ago, I noticed that their laces were quickly fraying and wearing out.  When I checked the Merrell website, however, I couldn’t find matching laces (in fact, I couldn’t many options at all).

Google turned up a number of sites, the most promising of which was ShoeLacesExpress.com   They offer a broad assortment of laces for footwear ranging from dress shoes, to casual, to hiking boots.   I quickly found a pair of laces that were nearly identical to the original laces on my Merrells, and ordered a couple of pair (they were a few bucks per pair).  Shipment was quick, and the shipping charges were reasonable.

If you find yourself searching for quality shoelaces, or for that matter hard to find laces, definitely take a look at ShoeLacesExpress.  The array of styles and colors they offer is mind boggling.  For the record, I have no connection to this company other than being a customer.
