How to insert links and images on the Practical Hacks Forum

If you’ve wondered how to insert hyperlinks or images on the Forum, here’s a quick screencast on how to do so.  Links are very easy; images are a bit more difficult, but doing so takes perhaps half a minute; have a look (best viewed full screen:  click on the monitor icon in the lower right; “Esc” to quit full screen) –

A note:  I saved the image used in the screencast quickly, and you might have missed how I did it.   I simply right clicked on the image, selected “Save Image As…” and saved it to my hard drive.

One other note:  you are limited to two links per post – this is to prevent spammers from littering up the Forum.
