“Frequent Flyer” is Gabriel Leigh’s master thesis at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of those flyers who are obsessed with flyer miles. In Gabriel’s own words:
The result is a look at the world of miles and some of its most enthusiastic participants, examining how miles and points have become an important world currency and, in turn, an obsession for those who have figured out ways to earn them in the millions.
The film is 20 minutes long, but it flies by (ha). Enjoy:

Great video! Travel as a form of meditation… that’s true for me.

Addiction? Interesting angle.
There’s a new frequent flyer movie (a narrative rather than doco) starring George Clooney that looks like great fun; looking forward to seeing it released while I’m still in an English-speaking country! They’ve got until February to get it out in New Zealand :)

Hey Craig… great to see you here! The Clooney film is “Up in the Air” and it looks like it ought to be pretty good. They actually filmed a scene in the Omaha airport.
Someone who works for me inadvertently walked into a scene as they were about to shoot… had a funny conversation with an assistant director.
Thanks for stopping by; hope all is well with you and Linda!
