Michael heartily recommended the Appenzell for “travel use by adults, not only kids, if:  (i) you are fanatical about traveling ultra light; or (ii) if you are going on a shorter trip; or (iii) if your trips will require checking some luggage anyway, but you want from a few days to a week’s worth of clothing and supplies in our carry-on bag, so you can survive until any lost or delayed luggage is delivered to you.”
