Last year I faced a situation were I could not use my frequent flyer miles from an airline when I tried to use them. Since I did not seem to be able to take advantage of the air miles I donated all my miles to the Fisher House Foundation. The Fischer House Foundaton provides free airline tickets to military men and women who are undergoing treatment at a military or VA medical center incident to their service in Iraq or Afghanistan, and their families. I feel better that my donated air miles were put to a good use and certainly encourage other people to do the same. The Fischer House Hero Miles link is: fisherhouse.org/programs/heroMiles
