Between work, golf and working on my travel eBook, I’ve been a bit busy… but I did steal a few minutes this weekend to write to a few firms to request PR samples of their products for review on Practical Hacks.
Sometime soon expect reviews of a couple of long-sleeve travel shirts, a TSA-compliant belt, and the Tom Bihn Tri-Star, which arrived today.
The Tri-Star is a beauty! The first Bihn bag to feature 3 zippered compartments, it’s absolutely loaded with thoughtful features but only weighs 3.4 lbs. Its capacity is 2000 cu. in., which is about 90% of that of the Air Boss, and 75% of the Aeronaut.
The thought that’s gone into the design and the quality of execution of this bag are very impressive. It really is a beautiful bag.
Give me a week or so and I’ll post a “First Take” review; thus far, my initial impressions are very positive.
