A few days ago Gmail made it possible for users to cancel delivery of emails you’ve sent and then realize you wish you hadn’t, or that you’d forgotten to include an attachment, or that you realize you don’t really want Bob in Accounting to know you’d like to see him die a slow and painful death… but you have to be quick.
The feature basically delays sending emails for 5 seconds; during that time a small “Undo” option appears in the Gmail header:
Click it within 5 seconds and the email isn’t sent; miss the 5 second window and Bob discovers you’re not a member of his fan club.
To enable the feature logon to Gmail, click on settings, click the Labs tab, and scroll down to “Undo Send” and click on the Enable button:
Don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and SAVE your changes. Along the way you’ll see numerous options you may not have been aware of; here are just a few:
The Previews feature (YouTube, Flickr, etc.) is very handy, BTW. Here’s how the YouTube preview works; if a friend sends you an email including a link to a video, a small preview appears in the message body:

Click on the “play” button, and you can preview it right in the message:

If you’re a Gmail user, check out all these great options from Google Labs.
