I’d promised a post on Tabata training this week and haven’t quite pulled it together; my apologies. The post linked to below generated some interesting comments – clearly there is a good deal of interest in Tabata out there. I’ll get it done this weekend.
One thing that is abundantly clear is that we need a new scale. After proclaiming last weekend exactly how much weight I’ve gained, I stepped on our scale Monday morning only to see it register even higher! Infernal device. I’ll go to Target later today to look for a new one.
But I’ve stuck with my exercise regimen this week and have dialed back on my caloric intake and the fatty stuff – butter, cheese and the like – which is good. Our diet is fundamentally solid; I just need to avoid the empty calories and crap. AND the food in our cafeteria at work – apparently some bizarre experiment being underwritten by The National Processed Food Institute. Yikes.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time this week doing some contingency planning at work,- not an enjoyable exercise. The economy is impacting our business and the prospects for ’09 don’t look especially rosy. Let’s hope President Elect Obama can work some magic – we’re going to need it.
Thanks for being here and reading this. We had a few new commenters this week and continue to add subscribers… thank you. Have a good Friday and a great weekend!
