11/23 PM update: DreamHost isn’t actually killing me. I exaggerated a bit. They’re just torturing me. Apparently another user was sucking up a lot of server resources and was just generally being disruptive. He’s been scolded, this site seems to have returned to some semblance of normalcy (using the word quite loosely) and life is good again. But I’m not changing the message in the footer…. not yet.
