What is that “Share This” button?

At the end of each post on Practical Hacks you’ll notice a little “Share This” icon. The function of this button is simple yet very critical to any blogger.

It enables you to add the page to a wide variety of social bookmarking sites, OR to email the page to a friend. Here’s what you’ll see when you click on it:

I am loathe to promote my own stuff on Digg and Stumbleupon - although having said that, I will do this on occasion - but I really prefer to not do so.

For this reason, I’d like to ask that when you see something you like on this site, please use “Share This” to share your favorite content with your social network - it gets the word out and helps support the blog.
