One benefit of our current economic malaise – and there certainly aren’t many! – is the availability of some terrific travel deals. In the last couple of months you’ve no doubt seen stories about killer Vegas deals – this one is from Reuters - stemming from the double whammy of the slowdown and high gas prices.
Now deals are beginning to pop up at some of the most popular holiday destinations.
Check out this article at the Wall Street Journal, which details some of the deals that are available for this year’s holiday season.

You know I’m very, very old but I do own a Scottevest.. I’m planning to take it to Las Vegas because (1) I can put my pills, sun glasses, money, precious jewelry and lots of other unmentionables in the pockets. I don’t have a Blackberry, Blueberry or Appleberry). All I’ll do at the airport is take off my Scottevest and put it through security .It won’t set off any alarms and I won’t have those nasty TSA people pull me out of line to frisk me. Thank you for helping to make traveling much easier.
