I LOVE LOVE LOVE the BigSkinny mini skinny. The magic wallet is very gimmicky and does not have the durability of a high quality nylon wallet like those offered from the BigSkinny. I gave both products a try and the only wallet that is still rocking and rolling is my BigSkinny.

This is the next style that I think I will try of theirs:

it is handy for someone like me who has two id's!!

Jennifer -

Funny comment! I hope you summon all of your super powers and do this... and when you do, take digital pics. I'd like to see how it works out. Thanks for visiting!

EDIT: Actually... neither the thin mini skinny nor the classic big skinny will work as magic wallets: the thin mini doesn't fold; the classic does, but the magic elastic straps would cover compartments you'd need access to. Check out the website.

Your review has given me an INSANE idea.

I'm going to purchase the thin mini skinny, then with my super powers combined with a sewing machine and a little ingenuity I'm going to make the back of it a magic wallet, thus providing a fairly thin magic wallet with the window, credit cards, AND coin purse.

Also, thanks for the review. Such a specific product but it's always great to read other people's experiences!

I like zippered pouches. I can carry a few quarters for parking meters! I always keep my folding money separate from my wallet. That way if I get mugged, hopefully I can "buy" my way out of turning over the wallet by just giving them the $$$. Also many pickpockets observe where you put the cash and "work" that pocket, so keeping wallet with credit cards separate from the money may help avoid the headaches of dealing with stolen credit cards.
