I’m heading off Monday morning to NYC to the World Business Forum to hear Rudy Giuliani, John Chambers, Colin Powell, Jack Welch, Michael Porter, Tony Blair and others share their thoughts and insights with Forum attendees. Back late, late Wednesday night.
For those of you who have read my posts about traveling light and various luggage/bag options, I’ll be traveling with the Rick Steves Classic bag. Initial observations: feather light (well under 3 lbs. – perhaps 2,) fully featured with some thoughtful details, but of course the materials and build quality are nowhere near the Red Oxx Air Boss. For the casual traveler who wishes to embrace the “one bag” approach, though, this could be just the ticket.
I’m leaving the laptop home and will make do with my Blackberry; in the meantime, I’ve got our IT department looking into the MSI Wind and Dell Inspiron Mini 9 mini laptops… more to come. The ThinkPad is just too much of a beast to lug around.
Have a great week!
