There’s an easy way to discover hidden bargains on eBay - bargains that your typical eBay user will never find.
Simple, free and incredibly easy to use, it’s called TypoBuddy.
Typo Buddy let’s you identify those auctions with misspelled product and brand names in their listings.
Interested in a “Callaway Golf” driver? It turns out that not everyone can spell “Callaway.”
“Banana Republic?” Easy to spell correctly, right? Uh, not really: it stumps a lot of eBayers.
“Etienne Aigner?” Fuhgeddaboudit! Seemingly impossible for legions of eBayers. The site, by the way, let’s you search craigslist listings as well, if you like.
Perhaps you’ve heard about a similar site called Fat Fingers. Both work well, but TypoBuddy’s approach to searching misspellings is a bit more sophisticated, and in head to head comparisons, it returned more listings with misspellings.
When searching for Etienne Aigner, FatFingers.com returned 25 eBay listings; TypoBuddy returned 163. Searching for listings with Banana Republic, FF produced 99 listings; TB produced 296!
The next time you’re searching for a coveted item on eBay - particularly if the brand or product name is at all unusual or difficult to spell, in addition to your regular search, try using TypoBuddy - you can find the site here. You have nothing to lose and may just find an outstanding hidden bargain!!
