If you’ve ever forgotten an anniversary, birthday or even a routine task, you can make sure it’ll never happen again with “remember the milk,” (RTM) a free reminder service.
RTM will send you an email, an SMS message to your web-enabled cell phone, or a message to your IM account to remind you of anything you need to do. Setting up and validating an account takes about two minutes, and once complete, you can send yourself reminder messages in whatever manner you prefer. The interface is quite simple – it only takes a moment or two to set up a reminder.
You can also set tasks or reminders to repeat on whatever cycle you prefer – for instance, a reminder about your spouse’s birthday can be set as an annual reminder that you’ll receive a week before the birthday each year.
Finally, you can even draft reminders from any email account, and email them to your RTM account, where they’ll automatically be set as reminders!
As with many such services, there’s a “Pro” (fee) version, but the basic RTM works well and is totally free. Check it out by clicking here.
