If you ever search for videos on the internet and haven’t tried Truveo, you’re in for a treat. Owned by AOL, Truveo is the search engine that that powers many of the web’s most popular video destinations, including (of course) AOL, Microsoft, Brightcove, and others.
Truveo crawls the web for videos not only on YouTube, but from broadcast organizations and many others. The result is a search engine that’ll return more clips than simply searching Google or YouTube, with an attractive interface - and sometimes surprising results.
