If you go, you'll love it. The hike is fun and you can move at your own pace. We stayed in Hill City and as you know, it's only a few minutes away. The first hike leaves at 8AM; we arrived at 6:50AM and there were already 80 or so people in line waiting. Take care - and if you do go, let me know how you make out. -Kevin John,

Visited the monument 4 years ago and your photos show much progress. For the past two years have planned to make the hike after seeing the monument, but family weddings have prevented.
